Our Services

The purpose of Mayfield House is to provide a family-like care setting for the comfort and security of our residents. We offer rooms to suit most individuals either single or shared and all individually decorated to reflect a homely ambience, whilst ensuring the necessary nursing equipment and facilities are available. Each resident is encouraged to use he full range of facilities throughout the home from the privacy of his or her own room, to the communal lounge or dining room, which is also used for some activities.

 

All residents can be expect the following:

1. To be offered accommodation suitable for their purpose, decorated, maintained, furnished and equipped to high standards, which they may use and enjoy as and when they wish.

2. To be allowed to bring their own items of furniture and their personal possessions, if they so wish, to enhance their own room.

3. To have access to all communal areas of the home and grounds with a provision of adequate access routes and, in case of residents with special needs, the provision of suitable adaptations for access, (e.g. ramps, grab rail etc).

4. To have access to a call system in each room, including bathrooms and toilets

5. To have adequate central heating, comfortable and functional lighting and ventilation.
